Two months ago, we faced the heartbreaking decision to let our beloved dog, Xisto, go. Dr Amy and her team were able to accommodate us at very short notice and we are incredibly grateful for their professionalism and compassion during such a difficult time.
Dr. Amy treated not only Xisto but also us, his family, with the utmost care and respect. She guided us through the process with sensitivity and ensured that every moment honoured Xisto’s dignity as a cherished family member.
While saying goodbye to Xisto was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do, Dr. Amy’s thoughtful and respectful approach made the process as peaceful as it could be. We will always appreciate her kindness and care.

Where to begin with the gentle, gorgeous Dr. Amy. On Thursday, I made the call no dog mama ever wants to make. I rang Dr. Amy, and from the very first moment, her voice carried the energy of someone who deeply understood. She walked me through her process with such clarity, asking the most thoughtful questions, and as I hung up the phone, my beautiful dog Nash nestled between my legs, looking up at me with those wise, Maltese eyes. It was as if he was saying, “It’s okay, Mum. Now’s the time. I’m ready.”
When Amy arrived the next day, Nash had declined further; almost as though his little body knew peace was on its way. From the moment she stepped through the door, Amy brought not just her expertise, but a presence so full of compassion, strength, and gentleness that it filled the room. She didn’t just care for Nash in those final moments; she somehow held space for me and my partner as well.
Amy didn’t just treat his symptoms or explain the process clinically. She validated everything we were feeling, offering clarity not just about his health and the steps of doggy assisted dying, but she also honoured and allowed for our human feelings. As a counsellor who works with grief every day, I thought I’d know how to handle this. But nothing prepares you for the final goodbye - Amy, with her huge heart, held us through it.
As Nash lay on the bed, Amy adjusted to his needs instinctively, even when I forgot to mention his anxious nature. She gave him space when he needed it and guided us gently so that he was supported and comforted every step of the way. The three of us sat there, cradling our boy, and in that space of heartbreak, Amy brought a sense of calm and dignity that I will never ever forget.
It’s been a few days now, and while the pain is immense, it's actually nice to be at ease somewhat, knowing Amy’s partnering cremation service is caring for Nash’s next steps with the same gentleness she showed us.
Amy was upfront about her high standards for animals at the end of life and reassured us every step of the way. Even after that day, she’s shown nothing but kindness, responding to my questions with authentic care. In a world that often feels chaotic, people like Amy remind us that goodness still exists. She gave us the gift of a beautiful goodbye for our darling Nashy, and we’ll forever be grateful. Thank you, Paws At Peace, from the bottom of our hearts.

Thank you for helping us with sending our loving dog Zero in a comfortable environment. We wanted our Zero in our home instead of having to drive him to the vet clinic. He was having seizures and thankfully Amy came at a short notice. We were able to say our prayers while he was sedated and relaxed before he went to rest in peace.
Thank you so much!

Amy and her team have helped me out to rest two of my beloved kitties over the last few years. Both times I was super distressed and Amy was nothing but a saint. She asked all the right questions, put my mind at ease and was extremely caring and gave me the opportunity to put my babies to rest at home and in my arms. I could not recommend this business any more. Their service is perfection, especially in difficult times like letting go of your fur babies. Thank you Amy and team 💜💜💜

I am so grateful for the extraordinary service that Paws at Peace provides. When my beautiful Indy’s cancer had become unmanageable we were able to avoid the distress and trauma of an emergency veterinary hospital and enable her to spend her last moments comfortably in my arms at home. Dr Amy’s calm and insightful approach supported Indy to quietly fall asleep and also recognised when I was ready to let her go. I am devastated by her death but comforted in the knowledge that she felt no distress or pain. Amy has made a profound difference in my ability to process losing my best friend and I will always be grateful.

Finding Dr Amy Jeffreys was a blessing for my family and I. Having spoken to 5 vets on the same day, all available and willing to perform this service for us, I only called Amy back. She had a safe, angelic voice that I knew I could trust to be an extension of our family and love to our 18 year old Mini Foxie.
A deeply painful, scary and sad experience for us all, to which Amy so professionally, gently and lovingly took care of for our beautiful pup and my family.
Forever grateful to Amy for being our angel and saviour. Thank you for your work and for being one of the rarest types of humans. We are all blessed to have met you. xx

I am almost lost for words with just how absolutely outstanding the team at Paws at Peace are. It was the most heartbreaking phone call I've ever had to make in a hurry and I am just blown away at how understanding, kind, and compassionate they are despite the chaos and emotions that occurred during the crisis that I was experiencing with my 4 yr old Sphynx Cat, Morticia.
Angelique was an absolute hero over the phone who was able to talk me through the process with utmost empathy. She even made multiple other phone calls to attempt to organize other aspects of Morticia's end of life care that I required.
Dr. Amy is quite honestly one of the most incredible professionals I've ever had the honor of working with (and I'm a healthcare worker myself). Her demeanor and presence are unparalleled and she is truly an incredible human being. The way in which she communicates and conducts herself during the appointment in your home is filled with respect, kindness and genuine compassion.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for facilitating such a safe, warm and protected environment as we took my precious Morticia to the other side. I'll never forget your kindness and care

There isn't enough stars in the world that could be given to Angelique and Dr Amy to show my appreciation!! Angelique was so kind, caring and understanding throughout the whole process and contacted me before, during and afterwards just to check in. When Dr Amy came to the house, she instantly made me feel comfortable and guided me through it but was also very supportive and gentle with my beautiful AmStaff girl, Beau, as she drifted away peacefully, in my arms while I talked to her, in her favourite spot in the house. Both Angelique and Amy were very correct in saying that as hard and painful as it is to have to say goodbye to my absolute world, being there with her as she went peacefully truly is a beautiful blessing. I wouldn't have wanted it or done it any other way. I will be forever thankful and grateful for just how incredible they both are.

If you find yourself in the heart breaking situation where it's kinder to let your beloved animal family member go peacefully you can't do better than Paws At Peace.
Doctor Amy and Angelique are compassionate, sensitive people who know what it's like to lose a much loved animal companion. Every service they provide, every step of the way, is respectful, thoughtful and kind. They go out of their way to help you.
Angelique is lovely and made me feel better from the start. She always listened to me and understood my pain. Her empathy gave me the strength I needed to make such a difficult decision. Her thoughtful, heartfelt communication was a lifeline.
Dr Amy was the best person we could have hoped for to help us let Rosie go. She is an excellent vet and such a caring, kind hearted person. Some people find their calling. Dr Amy gently talked us through the whole process. Her knowledge and experience made us confident that we'd made the right decision - at a time when it's almost impossible to feel that way because you are so conflicted and sad and unsure.
The kindness, consideration and understanding of the team at Paws At Peace made a devastating time a little easier to bear. We are very grateful we found them.
Rosie was outside on our deck in the sun. Daniel was hand feeding her roast chicken.
She fell asleep in her two favorite places - on my lap with her little head in her bowl.
As she fell asleep the line from the song playing on "Rosie's Playlist" was "You'll be on my mind for always." You will darling Rosie. And forever in our hearts.
As will Paws At Peace.
With love and thanks,
Elizabeth, Daniel and Rosie ❤️

Dr Amy and Angelique were amazing. Unfortunately our cat Eddie had fibrosarcoma which had come back. On 20/06/24, we woke up and knew that was the day. In tears, I reached out to Angelique based on so many recommendations and she was so amazing at helping me arrange everything. Dr Amy was out later that day and was so compassionate and kind. By the time she had come over, Eddie was definitely ready to go and the whole process was calm, reassuring and Eddie crossed the rainbow bridge resting on his favourite jumper, surrounded by his family with lots of cuddles and kisses. It was beautiful and helped so much with the immediate grieving process. We opted to have him cremated and to come back home.
Dr Amy brought him back home in a beautiful wooden box and he now sits at his favourite spot, forever watching the world just as he used to.
We will definitely reach out to Angelique and Dr Amy again when the time comes for our other pets, but we hope that time isn't for a long while yet!

Our beloved fur family member, Harvey, sadly developed an unexpected infection and his health declined really quickly. When we had to make the tough decision to put him to sleep, the AEC recommended Dr Amy to us. Immediately, when I spoke with her, I could tell she was an empathetic and kind person, who I could trust to help my family and I with the very difficult act of saying goodbye to our doggo of 13 wonderful years.
Dr Amy was patient during our first phone call, as I only just was coming to terms with what I was asking her to do, and then took the time to answer all of my questions so I was fully informed of the upcoming process. Not only was Dr Amy very calm and professional during the whole experience, before, during and after, but she was kind and patient with my family members and I, as we each took the time to say our personal goodbyes to Harvey.

One week ago today, Dr. Amy helped our beloved 16yo Minka pass peacefully at home and in my arms.
We used her services a few years ago for my sister's beautiful cat Java, so we knew we only wanted Dr Amy for Minka's end of life. The care and compassion shown by Amy and Angelique was genuine and heartfelt. We are so grateful for everything, including beautiful paw prints, hair and delivery of her cremated remains back to our house. Thankyou 💖💖💖 |

Deciding to let your beloved furbaby go to the rainbow gate is the toughest decision you'll ever make. My vet recommended Amy from Paws at Peace as we wanted to farewell Mr Max (our 18 year old Spoodle) at home. Amy was a beautiful soul. She made us feel ok with our heartbreaking decision and took care of everything, including cremation and bringing Max home to us. Although totally devastating for us, Amy made it peaceful, explained what happens and let us have our moments alone.
I wouldn't wish this decision upon any pet owner, but if you need to go there, I highly recommend Amy and the entire Paws at Peace team.

Dr Amy is a special human. The compassionate care she provided at a difficult time was amazing. Being able to say goodbye to our fur baby at home, instead of in a clinical setting was the most comfortable way, especially as he was very unwell.
I would highly recommend Dr Amy and the team at Paws at Peace.

The hardest decision I have had to make in a very long time. We had to let our girl go. Such a painful but bittersweet experience with Dr Amy. I can’t believe how ‘beautiful’ the letting go was. Dr Amy is a one of a kind vet who shows such empathy and real compassion in helping you to say goodbye to a beloved member of your family. As any pet owner knows it’s not JUST A DOG. The chance to say goodbye in her own home without any stressful visit to the vets and being lovingly cradled in your arms has made the letting go easier (if that’s possible).
Anybody having to make this decision, you should go no further than reaching out to Dr Amy she was an Angel in disguise 💕 Goodbye sweet baby |

Last week my family and I made the very difficult and painful decision to say goodbye to our loved 15 year old dog "Lucy". From the first moment I contacted Paws at peace, I knew that these people were going to look after Lucy with tender loving care and they did!
Amy the Vet was warm, comforting and had Lucy's best interests at heart. I can't thank her enough. Angelique just made everything easy to organise in a caring and professional way. Thank you so much for everything you both did .

A week ago we made the difficult decision to say goodbye to our gorgeous boy, Archie. We still miss him desperately! He had recently been diagnosed with lung cancer and we knew he was on borrowed time. Archie was stoic. Always a happy boy, he kept smiling, wagging his tail and trying to do all the things he loved. Our vet had said they are often fine one day and then, suddenly, they're not and you'll know. We knew that morning.
We called Paws at Peace, as we wanted Archie to be at home, with us, in his own familiar surroundings. Amy arrived as arranged and she was wonderful. So kind, gentle and caring. She took time to talk to us and explain the process and thoroughly assessed Archie. This was both reassuring and validating, because, even though we knew it was the right thing to do, there was an element of guilt. She waited until we felt ready, then Archie, surrounded by us patting and hugging him, received the sedation and then the final dose. He slipped away with no pain, anxiety or discomfort. It was peaceful and dignified. Thank you so much, Amy. You made an awful situation as good as it could be. How you do this job is beyond me, but I'm glad you were there when we needed you.🌹 |

I just want to say if I could give 1000 stars I would. You all have so much love & compassion and go above & beyond especially Angelique. I lost my first fluffy boy in December last year & you were just amazing. Today I lost my second fluffy boy and I unfortunately didn’t get to use you guys due to me needing someone asap, but you still contacted me to make sure I had found someone and to see if I was ok. Seriously, this warms my heart to know people like you actually care and are so compassionate towards us in these hard times. I highly HIGHLY recommend Paws at Peace and Angelique is a true angel 😇 ❤️

Amy was truly amazing in helping us to say goodbye to our beloved Milly who was a very special part of our family for almost 18 years. My heart is broken at losing her but Amy helped to give Milly a peaceful and dignified passing after entering advanced stages of heart failure. From start to finish, Amy was extremely gentle and showed such compassion it has helped a lot in our grieving process. My little best friend is at peace and I hope she knows how loved she is.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Amy and her team at Paws At Peace. I can’t thank them enough for their professionalism and kindness throughout this horrible journey. Amy picked up my calls during late hours of the night and was super helpful and understanding of my circumstances. She then booked me in for her next available and was super kind and understanding with the state that we were in, she was so kind and beautiful to my gorgeous Peppa and gave her such a beautiful send off to the rainbow bridge 🌈🤍,
As much it broke me it was the right thing to do and Amy reassured me the whole time she was here. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else besides Amy and her team, we received a beautiful heartfelt card, my gorgeous girls paw print, certificate of cremation and her ashes in a gorgeous bag, hand-delivered to our house, which I thought was so kind and professional. Amy and her team kept me in the loop and checked on me and my family often to make sure we were OK. I just want to thank you again for looking after my beautiful girl on her last day and making her look so beautiful and peaceful in the back of your car. It’s been such a hard time for me and my family but Amy was super considerate and warming to me and my family and her team and I thank them so much for making this experience not as painful.🤍🕊️

Whilst my heart is breaking Paws at Peace provided the perfect way to say goodbye to my beautiful Poppy. Poppy had a long life and was 16 and 1/2 but recently her health started to fail and she became deaf, blind and showed signs of dementia. Poppy looked lost and very unhappy. She had been a wonderful friend and I wanted to make sure her passing was kind and gentle.
Dr Amy was the perfect person she was kind and gentle with both me and Poppy. I sat on the couch in the sunlight holding Poppy as she passed away quietly.

We felt very reassured that Lola was not only aware how loved and special she was but also so comfortable in the last minutes of her life. I cannot recommend Amy enough. Today we had Amy help us say our final goodbye to our beautiful lab Chardonnay, 1 year and 1 month after using her the first time with our Toby. Both of our dogs were over 14 years old, both the hardest decisions we’ve ever made. Amy and her team made the experience so much more bearable in the saddest of times. She talked us through everything, showed us understanding and compassion with so much love and professionalism. We can’t thank you enough Amy, you’re a very special human and we are so grateful for the experience you provided us. Much love, Steph & Heather.

Dr Amy and Angelique, your jobs mustn’t be easy but what you offer people is so incredibly special — the chance for such a compassionate and intimate goodbye with their beloved family member. I am so grateful we were able to say goodbye to our dearest Shy through Paws at Peace.
Sharing 16 years of our lives with him, we knew saying goodbye would be incredibly hard but Dr Amy allowed us the space to openly express our sadness and love. She was so incredibly kind, warm and empathetic and made sure we knew exactly what was going to happen.
We were cuddled up on the couch together with our littlest love in his favourite pyjamas, atop a cosy blanket. We had candles and incense on and a beautiful playlist. We let our tears flow freely and Dr Amy never rushed us. Afterward, the care in which he was bundled up in his favourite blanket and placed into a fluffy little bed for us to carry him out to the car was something that also brought us a level of comfort we didn’t expect. We know in his final moments he was peaceful and surrounded by so much love and care.
Dr Amy, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us the space to say a proper goodbye to our sweet boy.

We lost our beloved german shepherd named Royal 5 days after he turned 11 in March this year. He was diagnosed with a very aggressive degenerative myelopathy. From seeing him follow us around especially with food in our hands to us lifting him on a blanket from the living room to our bedroom was heartbreaking. He couldn't even pee without us holding his hips with a harness. We knew it was difficult but he had to make the hardest decision we ever had to make.
Losing a pet is a different kind of unimaginable heartache, and I don't think you'll ever get over it. We are so glad we stumbled upon Dr Amy and Paws at Peace. Royal didn't have to experience the uncomfortable trip to the vet during his last few hours with us. Dr Amy came over to help us send Royal to Pet Heaven. She was very gentle, never rushed us and gave us as much time as we needed to deal with the process. Royal died in our living room, comfortable and not distressed at all. While it was gut wrenching having to put him down, it was also done beautifully and respectfully by Dr Amy. She went above and beyond for us, and for that, we will always be grateful.

I knew I had to do it. Oaty was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma twice. After beating this cancer both times, and being in remission for 4 years, my little fighter was unfortunately diagnosed with yet another cancer; an osteosarcoma deep in his ribs with lung metastasis.
Choosing Dr Amy was the greatest decision for this important time in our lives. Dr Amy told us the process and she was an absolutely lovely vet. So empathetic and kind. She first asked us questions about Oaty and his life, questions about the disease and was so compassionate, yet realistic with his disease progression. She took time to tell us exactly how the process of euthanasia went and answered all my questions, reassuring me at every step of the way. She understood the pain we were going through and didn’t rush us while we said our goodbyes. She even organised Oaty’s cremation per my request and that he stay tucked in his bed and with his toy bunny the whole way through.
Thanks to Dr Amy, Oaty was able to pass in a peaceful and painless way. He was in my arms, surrounded by family, watching us reminisce about his life with laughter and love before we said our final goodbyes. He was calm throughout and the last thing he would have seen was me kissing his forehead.
Thank you Dr Amy, you let Oaty end his 14 years in the most beautiful way. Oaty went out with a bang.

In the worst time I could imagine, Amy and Angelique made it bearable. I wasn't expecting the kindness or understanding. My partner was away overseas and I truly felt alone. This was one of the best decisions I've ever made for my boy. Initially it was a difficult decision and Dr Amy was really helpful over the phone and didn't place any pressure on me. She told me that if I had any doubt at all, then I should wait, which I did for another week until I felt more confident in my decision.
Dr Amy came to our house and explained the entire process clearly and gave us space when we needed it. My 17-year-old boy went so peacefully that he looked like he was just sleeping. I am so grateful for Dr Amy's utmost care from the moment she stepped into the house to when she placed my boy in a fluffy bed in the boot of her car. Thanks Amy.

We have recently had to have our very elderly dog put to sleep. We went with Paws For Peace and couldn't be happier with their service. Dr Amy was outstanding and handled the whole thing with a great deal of kindness, compassion, and was very gentle with our beloved pet and us too. She even returned the ashes to us with some lovely and thoughtful other items. If you need to make the difficult decision to send your pet off I cannot recommend these people highly enough.

I'm a bit late reviewing but had to callout how amazing Dr Amy was when I I had to put down my Husky in February. Taurus was very sick and quite old, and I spent a few hours searching for the right at home euthanasia service. The process from start to end was flawless, she made the whole process as easy as it could possibly be, and guided us through it with ease and comfort. The urn and ashes were delivered back very quickly with a pawprint and certificate. Thanks Dr Amy, for making a tough moment just that little bit easier for us.

The phone call that you never want to make. Unfortunately when the time does come, you couldn't ask for more compassionate and caring professional advice than Paws at Peace. Our beloved Tess was not well and we had to make the call. Right from the initial call, we had all our questions answered, and we knew straight away, what was involved. The care and compassion shown to us and Tess allowed us to say goodbye in a dignified manner in our own home where she was comfortable to the end. I highly recommend Paws at peace, should you need to make that call.

I’m absolutely blown away by the incredible service that Dr Amy Jeffreys provides.
After my vet told me that there was nothing they could do, and they recommended my cat Leo be put to sleep, I was in shock and extremely upset. When I visited Leo at the vet, he was incredibly scared, shaking and simply petrified !! Despite this being his usual vet, I just couldn’t put him down there. I wanted him to be at home, happy, surrounded by people who love him, surrounded by his favourite toys and on his bed. I explained my thinking to the vet staff (while crying my eyes out). The vet staff mentioned Paws at Peace, so went onto the website (at like 9pm) and filled in the online form. I received a very quick response and Dr Amy came out the following day. While my vet recommended putting Leo down, I decided against doing it straight away, as he had an IV in, he had pain medication, he could sleep overnight at the vets and I could pick him up early the next morning.
When I brought Leo home, his mood changed. He was happy (although still in a little pain), he stopped shaking, he lay down on the floor in the sun, had cuddles with everyone. I’ll never forget that he stretched his neck out to me, gave me a kiss on the nose and a lick on my forehead as if to say, “thank you dad – thanks for bringing me home”. This moment will stay with me for the rest of my life.
Dr Amy arrived and was kind, quiet, respectful. We got the paperwork out of the way, and she explained the whole process. My cat is afraid of strangers and usually runs a mile, but Dr Amy was the first person he didn’t run away from. In fact, when it was time to go, he went to her, sniffed both her and the equipment, went to his kitty litter, then back onto his mat. He was ready. He had something to calm him down and take the pain away and then the injection.
My cat was like my only son. He was family and meant the world to me. He deserved to go in the best way possible, without being in pain or fear. It’s the very least I could do, given all the unconditional love he has given me.
As for Dr Amy, I couldn’t have asked for a better vet, a better doctor, or a better way for him to go. I honestly can’t recommend Paws at Peace enough.
If you’re in the unfortunate situation where you must decide about your pet, and you’re thinking about using Dr Amy and Paws at Peace, don’t hesitate. You’ve found the service you’re looking for. I’d 100% use Paws at Peace again and recommend them to all my friends.

This will be the hardest phone call you will ever have to make in your life. Choosing the right person to call is tough. Yesterday we decided to call Paws at Peace due to their tremendous reviews.
The first call was made and everything was explained to us, the best options for our situation, how it would happen and when they could send Dr Amy to us. We had a few hours to spend our last special moments together.
On arrival, I was so scared of what to expect and how the whole procedure would happen and how i could cope with seeing this. I was dreading this moment. Dr Amy arrived exactly on time and I burst into tears when we opened the door. Dr Amy had the most calming demeanour about her and I was instantly put at ease. Dr Amy gave Tango a treat and they immediately bonded. We had a lovely conversation about his life, and discussed what would be the most comfortable way for him to pass, she had a couple of options depending on his character and tolerance to people prodding him. It was all about him. Dr Amy explained exactly what would happen,
Dr Amy gave us plenty of space to say our last goodbyes and went into another room to prepare meds. She did not rush us, and we told her when we were ready. We fed him his favourite treats in his bed, and within 30 seconds he was peacefully sedated, and then another 30 seconds he was gone, with us cuddling him. No pain. So peaceful. Amy brought a beautiful fur blanket, we wrapped him up and carried him to her car, where there was a beautiful big comfy bed waiting for him. The electric tailgate closed and we waved him away, knowing he will be treated and handled with the utmost of dignity untill he is cremated and we can scatter his ashes in his favourite park.
I cannot recommend Paws at Peace more to make the hardest day of your life that little bit easier. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Dr Amy.
The first call was made and everything was explained to us, the best options for our situation, how it would happen and when they could send Dr Amy to us. We had a few hours to spend our last special moments together.

It's taken me a while to be able to write this. This team are so compassionate and amazing. Everything from booking the appointment, changing the time, getting through the day, making decisions about what to do afterwards, all handled with grace and kindness. It's not the kind of service you want to think about ever needing or using but we are forever grateful at being able to let our boy leave this world gently in his favourite spot at home.
Thank you for your kindness.
Thank you for your kindness.

Trust me, after using Paws at Peace there is no other option! From the initial phone call to Angelique we knew we made the right choice, this was only magnified when Dr Amy came out to our home to put our old fella at peace. On the a sunny day on the lawn in his favourite spot with our whole family around him Dr Amy made our most difficult ever decision as easy as such a heart wrenching decision can be. She was extremely mindful of our kids who were present and was super affectionate to my old buddy; I'm extremely grateful. They followed up with phone calls and delivered his ashes personally to us soon after. For such an important decision there is no alternative. Thankyou!

I cannot recommend Paws At Peace highly enough. From the numerous phone calls to Angelique leading up to Dr Amy coming to help us say goodbye to our beloved dog Lucy, it was all handled with the utmost professionalism, care and compassion.
As hard and painful as it was to say goodbye, Dr Amy explained everything that would happen and gave us time and space when needed. The whole experience with Paws At Peace has helped us with our grief as Lucy was handled and cared for so beautifully by Dr Amy. My husband said Dr Amy was like an angel, so gentle and compassionate. Thank you so much, Susan, Alvin and Joel.

Angelique and Dr Amy do important and challenging work and they are very professional, honest, prompt, compassionate and kind. Saying good bye to our beloved dog was so hard and we are incredibly thankful to the team to bringing peace and comfort to our little family. Highly recommended.

Last week I had to make the awful decision to have my sweet girl Shay put down. Dr Amy was absolutely amazing. She explained everything before she did it, explained what to expect and she was so kind and gentle and understanding. I would recommend Paws at Peace to anyone who has to make that awful decision. Everything they did was with respect to your fur baby. Can't rate them high enough, if I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you Paws at Peace.

Belle, my sweet old girl, hated the vet clinic so I knew that an at home service was the best option for her. Dr Amy made every step of the process easy and filled with compassion. Felt listened to and was given the time needed to come to terms. Will be forever grateful for how gently Belle was able to drift off. Highly recommend this service especially for pets that are stressed at vet clinics.

Dr. Amy was absolutely wonderful during our time of need when our darling Roxy was reaching end of life. Dr. Amy and her team were extremely empathetic, responsive and provided wonderful veterinary care and service. Thank you Dr. Amy for taking such good care of us and Roxy. RIP our darling Roxy.

I never really write reviews but this one deserves 5 stars and everyone needs to know. Can highly recommend Dr Amy of Paws at Peace.
We were in the unfortunate situation where we had to say goodbye to our 13 year old pugalier Koko, who had an aggressive tumour. We had planned to do a home euthanasia for her when she was ready, however, she deteriorated much quicker than expected.
Dr. Amy was ready and available to come out to us late Sunday night. She was the most professional vet, explaining very clearly how the process works and put us all at ease. She gave us the time and space to grieve and she took great care of our baby before, during and after.
We wanted to say goodbye to Koko in the most comfortable and least stressful environment, surrounded by her family and because of Dr. Amy, we were able to do that.
We're blessed to have crossed paths with Dr. Amy.
Thank you for everything.

It's always awful to say goodbye to a loved pet, and when my husky Freya lost the use of her back legs, Dr Amy and Angelique were marvellous. The service was punctual, very caring, and Freya went very peacefully, which is all I could have asked. Can highly recommend.

We had to say goodbye to our beautiful cat Frosty and the beautiful Dr Amy was so caring, compassionate and respectful at this hard time for us. To be able to let Frosty go to a better place with such care in his own home was amazing. Thank you Dr Amy and Angelique for your support, care and compassion. You're angels 😇

From our very first contact, we knew we had made the right decision in contacting Angelique & Dr Amy in helping us to say goodbye to our beloved cat. Thank you seems inadequate. They were so respectful of our wishes and our emotions, giving us time and space to mourn in the comfort of our home. We got to say goodbye to our little man, and he was able to go on his way, in peace and with dignity. Forever grateful to the Angels at Paws at Peace.

We could never thank Amy enough for being by our side and being patient and so caring on the hardest day having to put our beautiful German Shepherd Kiki at peace. We are so grateful that our beautiful girl could go whilst in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family and feel no pain. It was the most difficult decision we ever had to make however Amy was amazing and helped us understand and accept what was best for our baby. Thank you Amy, from the bottom of our hearts.

Amy's bedside manner is superb. She made this so much easier than I thought it would be. Our darling cat, Scarlett, was 20, and had been with us for 16 years. Amy was hugely compassionate, explained things very clearly, and took the time needed for us to send our sweet cat off very gently. No feeling of rushing at all. Amy was very considerate to our needs and how we were feeling. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. Also, Angelique was amazing behind the scenes, organising everything in advance so we didn't have to deal with it on the day. Thank you both for your care and help on a really rough day.

Our beautiful cat Milo passed away recently and we are forever grateful for the assistance and support of Dr Amy. With the whole family present at home, Milo’s passing was made so much more special under the guidance of Dr Amy whose empathy and compassion were exemplary. We are forever grateful, and would highly recommend Paws at Peace.

Unfortunately had to say goodbye to our 5yo husky after he was unexpectedly diagnosed with incurable cancer. Amy was great from start to finish with the way she helped us through one of the hardest times of our lives.

In this heartbreaking time of loss we are extremely grateful to Amy and Angelique from Paws at Peace who helped our beautiful Moony Moons pass on to the Rainbow Bridge. He went on his own terms, on his favourite blankie, in his own home with his mum and dad holding him each step of the way. Amy was extremely gentle, compassionate and allowed us the time we needed to see him pass peacefully. She spoke to Moony throughout the whole process and he was calm right through to the end. Amy, you have our sincere gratitude, you helped us to understand that we had made the right decision. Even though we are grieving hard, we take comfort in that so thank you xox

We feel so grateful to have found Dr Amy to shepherd our beloved dog out of this world. She was incredibly empathetic, kind and professional and somehow, even though the circumstances around it were heartbreaking, his death was as beautiful, gentle and peaceful as it gets. While we now grieve our beautiful, larger than life dog, I can cherish the memory of his death along with the many memories of his life. Thank you Amy - I am blown away by your wisdom and obvious love and care for animals in the toughest of circumstances.

Letting go of our beloved girl MJ was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. Dr Amy made the whole ordeal far more bearable for all of us. Dr Amy was very compassionate and empathetic during the whole process and I'm very thankful knowing that our girl MJ got to rest calm and peacefully at home with us. I would highly recommend Dr Amy's professionalism to anyone going through such a hard and unfortunate situation, she is truly a kind soul and I'll forever be grateful for all her help and care in such a difficult time. Thank you Amy.

It was the toughest day our family has ever had to experience. So so grateful that we found Amy. My parents don't understand English and thanks Amy for being so patient with us throughout the whole process and made it that much easier.. She is just loving, compassionate, gentle and comforting. She gave us plenty of time to understand what was going to happen and very reassuring. We all felt peaceful in the last moments with our Dino, so did Dino. The whole service was very gracious and we knew that Amy took good care of Dino and the rest of it.. Thank you so much Amy for everything you've done for us! Words cannot explain.. We are forever grateful and everyone I've told the experience to has been amazed by you. We will keep highly recommend you to friends and families.

I can only agree with other reviewers. Dr Amy has visited us twice now and I highly recommend her service for her thoughtfulness and the caring way she handles a very sad time. Rufus and Darcy were able to go with dignity and peace, surrounded by their loving family.

Dr Amy Jeffreys was very caring, non-judgemental and warm throughout the process of putting my little dog Mitzi to rest. Mitzi felt comfortable in her presence and wasn't scared at any stage of the process. I also felt confident that Amy had the knowledge and expertise to carry it all through. She is punctual, caring and trustworthy. Thank you for being there for my little girl and treating her with dignity and love in her final hours. I have no hesitation recommending her service to anyone that has to make this extremely challenging decision. Rest in Peace, Mitzi 💓
Thank you so much, Amy! 💐

I cannot recommend a better service than what Dr Amy had provided us with today. A caring, kind & compassionate soul she is. Saying goodbye to our family dog & best friend was extremely difficult, the memories will always be there and the hurt will always linger, especially afterward. Amy is such a beautiful individual, so genuine at heart. I cannot recommend a better send off, or an individual, to help with a beloved family pet. Bless your heart & soul Amy. Thank You 🙏

Our 16 year old Cavalier X, Sasha, was diagnosed with advanced Stage 3 kidney disease and went downhill very quickly. I made contact with Dr Amy, who from my first contact was a listening ear and caring heart. She came to our home and spoke with my husband and I and our cat and other dog. Her care of Sasha in her final moments was beautiful and peaceful. So much understanding, empathy & compassion. It has taken me a while to write this post, but we are grateful for Dr Amy and the tough job that she has. Thank you.

On such a sad day, Amy was so kind and caring. Amy made the process seem very peaceful. Amy was very reassuring that we were doing the best thing for our gorgeous 17 year old Westie called Jack. Thank you Amy!

I don’t have the words to describe how thankful I am to Amy for being there to help us say goodbye to our beautiful sassy lady, gal pal, hefty beast, Pixie. Amy is an incredible professional. She knew exactly how to support Pixie and Pixie’s loved ones through every moment. She anticipated all of our needs. Amy was sensitive, empathic, amazingly kind and just provided a really calming presence. I could not recommend her enough to anyone that has to experience the heartbreak of saying goodbye to their furry friend.

Dr Amy was wonderful. Kind, compassionate and patient, she gave us the opportunity to say goodbye to our girl in a warm loving environment as peacefully as possible. The pawprint went above and beyond what was expected and gave us another beautiful way to remember her by. Thanks so much Amy.

Amy, thank you so much for the beautiful send off you gave our beloved Chiquita. From the moment I called you to discuss options for Chiquita, to the care and tenderness you showed us through to the end, I can't thank you enough!!! You truly are an Earth Angel.

I can't thank Amy enough for the service she provided not just to Ty but to myself and my partner. It made a difficult process so much easier and the care that was shown won't be forgotten. Thanks again.

Thanks so much Dr Amy, I was very lucky to have you come out so quickly and that you didn't have another client at the time, as I know your calendar fills up quickly. I don't know any other of this type of service which responds so quickly and was able to accommodate my pain and indecision on this. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't have been there for her passing and I know in my heart that she had every moment of life she could have had but with a peaceful passing. Thank you.

Amy was professional, kind and compassionate in her care for our beautiful boy and our family. At such a heartbreaking time we could not have asked for better. Amy provides such a wonderful service to allow people to say goodbye to their beautiful pets in such a calm and loving environment.

We are so grateful to Dr Amy. She helped us say goodbye to our little boy at home, where he was comfortable and not stressed, and surrounded by all of us who he loved the most. Dr Amy was so gentle and loving, and explained what was going to happen so clearly, and it helped to make a very difficult process just that little bit easier to deal with. We honestly couldn't have asked for more. Would highly recommend Amy for anyone who is having to go through this difficult process.

Dr Amy helped us to deliver our last act of love to our handsome first born Chico. A painful and heartbreaking moment was cushioned by her kindness and genuine care for us and our little man. I was able to hold my good boy as he passed in his home. A thousand thank yous Dr Amy.

Recently I had to say goodbye to my beautiful sidekick Diva. I rang Amy on a Sunday morning, she came out within an hour, she was amazingly professional, respectful and comforting at a difficult time. Can’t speak highly enough of her service, she really goes above and beyond.

At the worst moment in my life, Dr Amy was brilliant. She gives so much support and compassion in her occupational role. Amy was supportive, informative, gentle, kind and knew exactly what we were all going through. She demonstrated the utmost respect through the entire process and for this I can not thank her enough. I couldn't have wished for a more peaceful way for our beloved boy to go. I am forever grateful that I got to hold him, at home where he felt safe, secure and LOVED. From the bottom of my broken heart, thank you Amy ❤
If you find that euthanasia is a service that you require I would very strongly recommend Dr Amy, she will look after you and your pet.

I am so glad I called Dr Amy to help our old boy Eddie pass on. Dr Amy was punctual, highly professional and sensitive. She gently talked us through the process, helped us make Eddie very comfortable and he passed on peacefully in our arms. Thank you so much, I don't know what we would have done if we had to take him to a cold scary vet. This was the best possible way for him to go.

On Sunday 26 April we were devastated to find out our 14 year old Italian Greyhound Marco had a tumour which had ruptured. He hid it from us so well until he couldn’t anymore. He was in an Emergency Hospital and though the outcome was painful and final, I did not want our boy to pass there. I called Amy in the afternoon and we arranged to pick up Marco and Amy arrived promptly at 8pm. Her professionalism, empathy, kindness and compassion was amazing. She explained the process thoroughly and I knew she understood what we were going through and the decision we had to make. She gave us all the time and privacy we needed to say goodbye. Thank you Amy for giving our beautiful boy such a dignified farewell. He is terribly missed and our hearts are broken. But knowing he went peacefully and having you in our presence helped. Bless you Amy xxx

We would like to thank Amy for the compassionate dignified and caring way she treated our most loved little man in his final moments . Her calmness and ability to guide us through this highly emotional time ensured we took the time needed to focus on our final farewells which has given us lasting memories that will never be forgotten. Her professionalism and understanding from the first time we enquired about her services until Mango's ashes were returned with his paw print, were beyond question and we can’t recommend her highly enough. Thank you again Dr Amy.

Thank you for helping to make a very difficult time that much easier. Dr Amy was able to explain to us what was happening to our poor 14 year old boy's heart, and what the progression of his end-stage heart disease would entail for him. This really helped to assure me that we were making the right choice for him, which was something I had struggled with immensely. We knew when he was diagnosed with CHF two years ago that we would one day be faced with this choice, and I knew the whole time that I wouldn't want his last moments to be in a vet clinic. I am so, so grateful that Dr Amy's service meant that he was able to pass at home, surrounded by his most favourite people and laying atop his favourite cushion. Thank you, Dr Amy. From the very bottom of our hearts.

Sadly we had to make the difficult decision to euthanize our cat. Initially we were taking her to her local vet, but a friend recommended home euthanasia. For the comfort of our cat we thought we would give it a try. I'm so glad we did. Dr Amy from Paws at Peace made the experience as best as it could have been. If you're faced with the unfortunate decision to euthanize your loved pet, I strongly recommend calling Dr Amy.

On Monday April 28 our precious Aussie shepherd Murphy took a turn for the worse and a decision was made to call Paws at Peace. Dr Amy was amazing, filled with plenty of experience, knowledge and much love and compassion for animals, she walked us through the process of home pet euthanasia assuring us along the way that our decision was the right one for Murphy and we know it was. He slipped away peacefully in our home with Mika in attendance, my partner and my son. He is at rest in a peaceful place now. At 15½ years of age he has enjoyed a fabulous life filled with lots of experiences and very much well deserved love. Murphy has been a wonderful companion to my two sons, myself and his half sister Mika. She is missing him dreadfully. She has never been on her own before. but I'm sure she will settle down. Thank you Dr Amy for your friendly attitude, your compassion and respect during the process; you were just lovely. Thank you so much for your reassurance.

Saying goodbye to my big snuggle puss Mia was one of the most difficult decisions I have had to make but Dr Amy Jeffreys helped make it so much easier at home. I was a mess but Amy was so very caring and professional helping me cope and making sure the final moments for my darling old girl were stress free. She went peacefully in my arms and I couldn't have asked for a more dignified and beautiful way to farewell my precious, constant companion of 18 years. I am heartbroken but my beautiful girl is pain free. Thank you so much Amy and Paws At Peace

Our dog Zanzi was suffering from cancer and had a big downfall in the early hours of the morning. We called Dr Amy and she was at our home within an hour. I can’t recommend her highly enough. She was very professional, immediately gave our dog pain relief so he wasn’t in any pain, gave us as much time as we wanted for our last time with our dog before he went over the rainbow bridge. We had him privately cremated and he was returned to us by Amy within a few days. Very highly recommend Amy. Thank you again for all you have done during that heartbreaking time.

Amy was so empathetic, caring and professional. She talked us through each stage and what to expect and kept checking in at each stage to see if we needed more time .She made the passing of our beautiful boy as loving, comforting and gentle as possible. It takes a special person in a job like this to not just have the medical skills and background, but to show genuine care and empathy in their work, and just sit back in the environment and make u feel comfortable to just be sad- but also to feel confident and comfortable with the process as she lead it . thanks so much Amy x

Amy was absolutely wonderful to my dear little girl Willow and I. The compassion and empathy she showed when caring for Willow was absolutely heartwarming and it really helped me through a very difficult time. Honestly, I will never forget Amy or the care and dignity she gave Willow in her final moments. Thank you so much Amy. You will always have a very special place in my heart.

I highly recommend Amy for her compassion towards my fur baby, understanding and keeping me informed at all times.

On Sunday morning, we were able to say goodbye to our dear cat, Charlie bear, in the comfort of my lap, sitting in one of his favourite spots, because of Amy. We told him how much we all love him and how wonderful he is and how much we would miss him everyday, and then Amy helped him fall asleep in our arms for the last time. We cuddled and patted him until the end and after. Over the weekend, Charlie had stopped eating and drinking and could no longer walk in his last few hours, so we are so glad we could keep him near to us, in a place he knew, at home, until the very end. Amy was so comforting and understanding throughout one of the hardest things we have ever been through. Thank you, Amy, for making Charlie’s passing as special as it could be. See you on the other side little buddy.

I highly recommend the services of Dr Amy from paws@peace. Her compassion, understanding and professionalism was greatly appreciated by our family at a time in need with our beloved dog who had taken a turn for the worse. Dr Amy’s service went above and beyond what we had expected for such a difficult time. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to be there for us and our poor boy Skipper.

Amy is an Angel. I sensed that my beautiful boy “Bubbles” was unwell and had visited the Vet many times over the past 6 months. Each visit resulted in the same result. “He is fine, we can’t find anything wrong”. On New Years Day 2020 (early in the morning), I knew he was not ok and it was time to let him go over the rainbow bridge. I called Amy in tears and although it was supposed to be her day off she came to me anyway. She stayed with me as long as I needed before we started so I could have a little more time with my boy. When I was ready she gave him a sedative and he slipped into “bliss”! He seriously just cuddled up on my arm like he normally would. When it was time we moved to his favourite place on the couch with him on his favourite blanket, me patting him just as if he was asleep. When we were ready Amy put in the catheter (didn’t work the first time) and in a few moments Bubbles drifted away. There was no distress for either of us and so much more peaceful than it would have been if I needed to take him outside the home. Amy was considerate, caring, compassionate and just an all round wonderful person to have with me and Bubbles during his last moments. Having such a caring Vet who was willing to go above and beyond was so appreciated by me. I would recommend (and have recommended) Amy as the better alternative if you have made the decision of euthanasia. You as an owner are in good hands and so is your companion pet. The aftercare was seamless even though it was a “difficult” time of the year. My Bubbles is now home and placed in his favourite spot. Thank you Amy for all you did for me and for Bubbles. You really are a unique individual and I think you have found your calling. You help people as well as animals with what you do. Paws really are At Peace with you!!
Tina M
We were given Dr Amy's number and called in an emergency situation. Dr Amy's compassion and care towards our family and our beautiful Daphne (13½ year old) made such a sad time for us that more bearable. I would highly recommend using Paws at Peace. It takes a very special person to do what she does. Thank you. Tina, Adam, Ruby and Audrey

Saying goodbye to a loved one is one of the hardest things to do in life. Amy was like an angel sent from heaven for us, I couldn’t have put my greatest friend in better hands. She made the experience so beautiful in such a tough moment of our lives. She made everything very comfortable and nurtured us through the experience. She made all the arrangements so easy for us and let us grieve for our loved one. We couldn’t have got through this without you Amy, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We had to say goodbye to our beloved dog Oscar last week. When he suddenly took a major downhill turn on the weekend of 16th November, I searched the internet and found Amy. She answered her phone on a Sunday (although I didn't expect her to), and was available on the Monday evening to help us. Amy is warm, caring, professional and respectful. Oscar passed very peacefully in his own home, surrounded by his family. I would highly recommend entrusting Amy with the privilege of helping your fur-babies transition. She will give them the care and service they deserve. Thank you Amy x

Dr Amy was so kind and empathetic on the phone when I called her last minute to come help us put our 16 year old golden retriever to sleep. It was a decision that had to be made quickly as he was sick and she was able to come on the same day. She was able to take him with her afterwards and organised all the details of the cremation. She then sent us a beautiful card with an ink print of his paw. We were so lucky to have found someone who was available so quickly and that also understood what we were going through. I am forever grateful for all of her help and highly recommend her to anyone who would like to give their pet a nice passing at home.

Amy was amazing - she helped my family through this extremely difficult time. We could not have asked for a more caring, understanding person. Thank you again.

Dr Amy was amazing. Our beloved 14 year old family retriever / Labrador was put to rest in our arms but it was the comfort, follow up and genuine care that Amy showed that helped our children and us deal with the loss. Forever grateful Dr. Amy

Dr Amy came to our home and treated my darling old girl Sadie (14.5 yro) with the utmost respect and care she could possibly give to a deeply loved fur baby. I would 100% recommend Amy to everyone that cares about how their baby is treated and wants a humane caring way to have your baby's suffering ended. Amy was very professional in her job and also comforts you in a way you need to be comforted at the time with a big hug and kind words. Paws at peace is wonderful and I am so so glad I found Amy when I did. Thanks Amy for being so great. Tremendously highly recommended.

Amy was an angel who came just at the right time. Our beautiful girl Mariah was made to feel so at peace and so were we. We can't thank her enough. xxx

We recently had to put our elderly greyhound to sleep and Dr Amy was absolutely fantastic - I can't recommend her enough. After inquiring about her service over the phone she talked me through the options and answered all my questions which really put my mind at ease. Knowing that we could call her at any time was a huge relief. We eventually decided to book in a time for Amy to come around and euthanise our girl and it was the most peaceful and lovely send off I could have hoped for. After previously putting pets to sleep at the vet and finding it very distressing, this was the polar opposite and I am so grateful for that.
We ended up deciding to cremate our girl and then Dr Amy returned her ashes to us about a week later. Not only does Amy provide a crucial service for pet owners in a time of need she also provided so much comfort and joy by talking to us about our dog and asking questions which helped us to relive the happy memories before we said goodbye in the comfort of our own home. This service is perfect for those who want to give their pets a calm, loving and relaxed send off in a familiar environment.

This service is perfect for those who want to give their pets a calm, loving and relaxed send off in a familiar environment.

It was so comforting to know we could say goodbye to our old girl on her bed, in her home, surrounded by her people. Amy was so incredibly supportive and caring through the whole process. Giving us all the time we needed to grieve our loss. We couldn't have considered doing this any other way. Thank you once again Amy. You're an angel.

On May 10th I made the difficult decision to put my best friend to sleep. My beloved 7 year old greyhound Scout had been diagnosed with osteosarcoma and then broke her leg at the site of the cancer. Her suffering was so great that I knew I had to make her pain go away. I wanted a vet to come to my home and I'm so thankful that I found Dr Amy. From the initial phone call, to the visit itself, to the follow up delivery of Scout's ashes, Dr Amy was an angel. Compassionate, empathetic, gentle and kind. If you are ever in the horrible place I found myself in, do not hesitate to call this amazing young woman. Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Amy's services highly enough. She was able to turn a distressing and difficult time into a cherished memory. Amy was very responsive prior to and after the appointment. She is professional, calm and caring during the entire process. Our family, including my two young daughters, were able to be involved and Amy was very accommodating of their needs, offering gentle reassurance. We are so grateful to Amy for providing us with the opportunity to be with our beloved dog Chilli as she passed away, surrounded by those she loved and those who loved her. A very sad, but beautiful memory. Thank you Dr Amy.

Saying goodbye to my 15yo goldie, Molly was always going to be one of the hardest things. Dr Amy came to our home and cared for me as much as Molly. We were able to have a beautiful goodbye and she was able to just go to to sleep in her bed...

Last December into January my beautiful rescue dog Odette began exhibiting strange behaviours. When we discovered she had an inoperable growth in her brain, I began to prepare myself for the inevitable and yet impossible task of saying goodbye to her and helping her to pass into the next world in as much peace as possible.
There were two issues in my mind when thinking about this. Firstly, Odi was never a huge fan of the car and secondly she was never a fan of the vet. The last thing I wanted was for her last moments to be full of stress and panic. This is where Amy and paws at peace came in. In speaking to Amy on the phone, she sounded lovely. She would come out at midnight if needed. This for me showed her true care and love for the animals she deals with. When the moment came, true to what she had said, Amy did end up coming out close to midnight to help us say goodbye to odi. She made one of the hardest moments of my life so far also supremely peaceful. Odi passed in complete peace with no pain or stress. Surrounded by people who loved her dearly. It was exactly what I wanted and what she deserved after giving so much joy to me over time with her.
Once she was gone, Amy put odi comfortably into the back of her car, covering her with blankets, always treating her with the utmost love and respect, took her away, organised cremation and then dropped off the ashes when they were ready. A wonderful service giving unconditional love to those who give us their complete undying unconditional love while they are here with us. I highly recommend Amy and Paws at Peace for anyone at the same stressful and painful juncture. It makes such a difficult time that little bit easier and that means the world to us. Thank you Amy. Matthew, Odette in spirit, the whole Charles family and everyone who experienced any of the boundless love Odi had to give.

Even though we knew our little 14 year old Maltese x Westie needed to take her final journey, there were still good byes and tears along the path to the decision. We spent time with her on her last morning, fed her her favorite chicken, walked in the park (as much as she could) and just loved her. Amy came to our home and was really lovely. We were asked where we would like to have Sassy - in her basket or favorite place. It felt right for her to go to sleep in my arms being patted etc so that’s what happened. A deep sleep where she felt as though her body just softened and melted in to me. When we were ready, Amy checked in and put sassy finally to rest. It was our decision from there as to whether we buried her at home or had her cremated etc, all of which Amy had pre advised me on. Highly recommend pawsatpeace and Amy should you find yourself in this situation.

I am a vet working in Melbourne and can wholeheartedly say that Dr Amy is incredible. Whenever my clients ask for home euthanasia recommendations she is ALWAYS my first port of call. She is such a beautiful and understanding soul and an incredible vet. I know that when the time comes for own furbaby to cross the rainbow bridge I will be calling on Dr Amy.

Georgia, Cookie and I (extended family , paws and all) want to thank you for your gentle nature and professional care . Your genuine compassion was obvious and we thank you eternally for being present with My sons final breath, he/we were all at ease. Your kind words and demina shone through with the lovely hand written card Georgia and I received when you brought us our sons ashes. Thank you.

My beloved 15yo Burmese boy Leo was diagnosed with aggressive carcinoma about 8 weeks ago. Since diagnosis Leo hated his visits to the vet and was always very distressed by the examinations. The vet suggested, when the time came, it would be much kinder to have Leo euthanised at home. They gave me Dr Amy's contacts.
On Leo's last day he was very comfortable and happy in his favourite spot, his electric blanket on my bed. When Dr Amy arrived she knelt by the bed and Leo immediately got up and gave her the biggest smooches! It was as though he knew her and knew she was going to help him. Dr Amy explained the procedure to me and gave Leo a sedative so he remained extremely calm. Leo slipped away so very peacefully and quietly. He felt so warm and so soft. Dr Amy was incredibly kind and compassionate. I'm so glad Leo was at home. Thankyou so much Dr Amy. X

Dr Amy is an angel. Collingwood Emergency Clinic recommended 'Paws at Peace' after our beautiful female boxer, Phoebe, had suddenly and most unexpectedly been diagnosed with tumors and no positive outcome. The minute I opened the door and saw Dr Amy I was comforted at this difficult time. Phoebe affectionately gazed into Dr Amy's eyes, listening to her softly spoken words.
Dr Amy is so caring and compassionate and gave the time needed to say goodbye to our sweet Phoebe who was resting on her favourite bed before being helped with her forever sleep. A few weeks later, Phoebe's dear brother, Moseley, who was unwell for many months, sadly joined his sister in doggy heaven. Dr Amy returned to assure his peaceful journey and organized their combined ashes in a beautiful wooden box.
We miss them and their wonderful personalities very much. Thank you Dr Amy for all your caring and kindness.
