Are you still operating throughout the pandemic?
Paws at Peace continues to be dedicated to the care of pets in need throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. We are still conducting home visits and Dr Amy is triple vaccinated to ensure the protection of her clients in their homes. We are classified as an essential service and can operate as normal during periods of lockdown.
Can we have a home visit if someone in the household has tested positive to Covid-19 or members of the household are in isolation?
- Unfortunately, Dr Amy is unable to attend your home if you or anyone who resides in your home has tested positive to Covid-19, is actively infected with Covid-19 or is in isolation
- We can attend your home once all members of the household have finished their seven-day isolation period after testing positive.
- If you are showing signs of Covid-19 but have not yet been tested, we can only attend your home once we have sighted a negative test result.
- If you have been a primary contact of someone who has tested positive to Covid-19 but have not yet been tested, we can only attend your home once we have sighted your negative test result.
By law you are required to inform us before a home visit if you or any members of your household have tested positive to covid or are in isolation.
Will we have to wear masks during a home visit?
While the case numbers of Covid-19 are high (currently there are thousands of new infections/day in Victoria) we will require all members of the household who are over the age of 8 to wear a mask. These guidelines follow the recommendations set by the Victorian State Government. If you have an exemption to wear a mask, please let us know and send evidence of your exemption to [email protected] prior to our visit. Dr Amy will wear a mask at all times during her visit. If you or a member of your family are hearing impaired/deaf, accommodations will be made.
